Luke is a Senior Arboricultural Consultant with over 20 years’ experience and leads a team of consultants in a Practice that is renowned for innovation, expertise and providing evidence based support to tree owners, managers and the design, planning and construction sector. With members of the Treework Team, Luke has delivered over 20 ground-breaking.
Innovations in Arboriculture seminars that have brought delegates and speakers together, across the borders of disciplines and countries, to share knowledge, develop new understanding and inspire partnerships to effect positive change, whether it be in how we manage risk, how we consider trees in the built environment or how we consider soils’ role in the health of our trees.
Luke is Lead Arboricultural Consultant on award winning regeneration and construction projects, large scale tree planting projects and provides expert advice to landowners with nationally important ancient trees. These include, London 2012 Olympic Sites within 6 Royal Parks and Historic Sites, Elephant Park Regeneration, Natural England’s Thames and Chiltern Wood Pasture Project, Hackney Wick Olympic Legacy Project, Management of all Tree Issues across Edgbaston and for several Housing Associations.
Luke and Treework Environmental Practice are currently leading research on the role of soil chemistry and biology and effectiveness of soil amendments relation to tree resilience to disease as well as leading the way on developing best practice for biosecurity.
